About the Role

• Repair and replace ADA operators, manual/swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow‑metal and storefront doors, including automatic folding, sliding, and swing doors. • Service a wide range of door equipment and control devices. • Perform carpentry tasks such as partition framing with metal/wood studs and install doors and windows. • Conduct preventative maintenance on commercial and automatic doors and related hardware. • Manage multiple projects, meeting time and other constraints. • Deliver excellent customer service in a fast‑paced setting. • Apply carpentry skills to framing and installation tasks.

What You Bring

The current opening is for an Automatic Door Service Technician. The role focuses on repairing and replacing ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, and various automatic folding, sliding and storefront doors. AAADM certification is preferred, and candidates should possess at least two years of experience in automatic‑door installation or service. The successful candidate will work in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple projects while maintaining a professional attitude and strong attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, a clean driving record, and solid mechanical and carpentry skills are essential. Experience with manufacturers such as Horton, Stanley, Record USA, Besam, and Assa Abloy is considered a plus. • Maintain a positive, professional demeanor while working independently or in a team. • Exhibit strong attention to detail and follow established processes. • Minimum two years’ experience as an automatic‑door installer or service technician; AAADM certification preferred. • Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and possess a clean driving record for company vehicles. • Experience with commercial door hardware, storefront doors, door closers, and emergency exit devices. • Preferred familiarity with Horton, Stanley, Record USA, Besam, and Assa Abloy products.
