About the Role
As a Site Engineer you will support the Project Engineer and broader team, managing work packages and ensuring delivery meets scope, quality and budget expectations. You will also contribute to safety inspections, procurement support, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Blend office, site and remote work for flexibility • Plan and schedule construction activities • Manage BOQ/BOM and maintain site documentation • Coordinate traffic management and obtain council approvals • Oversee defect closure and conduct site restoration • Support procurement and handle financial reconciliation • Participate in safety inspections and lead toolbox talks • Conduct lessons‑learned workshops to drive continuous improvement

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a Civil Engineering degree or Construction Management qualification, with relevant telecommunications or civil construction experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and MS Project, strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills are essential. • Hold a Civil Engineering degree or Construction Management qualification (diploma candidates with experience considered) • Possess telecommunications or civil construction experience (Optus, Telstra, NBN valued) • Experience in field operations and project coordination • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and MS Project • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability
