Project Costing and Finance Specialist
Develop & manage defence project cost models, finance reporting, & stakeholder liaison.

About the Role
The position requires maintaining at least a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance, and may also involve compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). • Build and refine strategic cost models for investment and government submissions. • Prepare finance tables and support monthly reporting for CABSUB, PES, MAA, MSA, PDS, PPRIP, DFG, and IPT. • Conduct cost assurance reviews and respond to Navy capability assurance queries. • Provide financial input for contract changes, asset valuation, Section 23 escalations, and budget establishment. • Liaise with ASCA, DSTG, CCB, and Navy to deliver cost advice and participate in workshops. • Work on critical defence projects that protect Australia’s future.

What You Bring
• Expert in developing DRN/DSN‑compliant CCT cost models and AMCIP tables. • Skilled in finance table preparation, cost variance analysis, and monthly reporting. • Experience supporting Investment Committee submissions and budgeting processes. • Proven ability to engage with Defence stakeholders and address assurance questions. • Proficient with ACEIT, SAP ARC, ERP systems and producing asset valuation models.
