About the Role
• Design power delivery infrastructure (transmission lines, distribution lines, substations). • Participate actively on project teams and attend internal and external client meetings. • Prepare project specifications and both conceptual and detailed calculations for construction documents. • Collaborate daily with cross‑functional teams across multiple disciplines. • Coordinate and verify as‑built drawings. • Produce quality reports and design documents to support client retention.

What You Bring
Kimley-Horn’s Greenwood Village, Colorado office is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer or Analyst with at least one year of experience to join its Power Delivery team. • Hold 1+ year design experience in transmission, distribution, or communication line design; possess EIT/EI certification or obtain it within 6 months. • Understand NESC, RUS Electrical Bulletins, ASCE‑7, California General Order 95, and related ASCE/IEEE/CIGRE standards. • Demonstrate superior verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a fast‑paced team environment. • Experience with transmission line modeling tools (PLS‑CADD, PLS‑Pole) is a plus.
