About the Role

The Project Manager, Furniture role oversees and manages all aspects of a furniture project, from developing scopes of work and procurement packages to coordinating installations and delivering excellent client service. The manager will lead furniture projects up to 50,000 RSF independently, and assist on larger initiatives, coordinating activities with the project management team, architects, clients, furniture dealers, and other stakeholders while maintaining project documentation, budgets, and schedules. Day‑to‑day duties include creating furniture scopes of work, procurement packages, budgets, and schedules; maintaining an open items log; reviewing dealer design deliverables and bills of materials; acting as the primary client contact; and aligning furniture scope with overall project plans. • Lead furniture projects up to 50,000 RSF, managing scope, budget, and schedule. • Coordinate activities with architects, clients, furniture dealers, and project teams. • Develop and maintain scopes of work, procurement packages, project plans, and documentation. • Oversee vendor selection, order entry, and installation activities. • Serve as primary client contact for furniture‑related inquiries and concerns. • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to review progress and resolve issues. • Ensure compliance with client requirements and company policies.

What You Bring

Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in project management, construction management, interior design, or communications, plus 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, and proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office. Preferred qualifications include PMP or NCIDQ certification, familiarity with design software such as CAD or CET, and a solid understanding of construction processes; this position does not provide visa sponsorship and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. • Required: Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years experience in corporate real estate or furniture dealership. • Demonstrate strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. • Proficient with project management software and Microsoft Office; knowledgeable of furniture standards. • Preferred: PMP or NCIDQ certification; CAD/CET experience; understanding of construction processes.
