Workplace Technical Services Assistant Manager

About the Role

The assistant manager supports the FM and Chief Engineer in managing mechanical, electrical, plumbing installations, life‑safety systems, and the BMS, overseeing preventive maintenance, critical spares inventory, and contractor performance. Responsibilities also cover downtime management, ad‑hoc setups, daily M&E reporting, purchase of spares, incident reporting, work‑order tracking, landlord liaison for utilities, strict PPE and LOTO compliance, permit issuance, register maintenance, daily rounds, vendor coordination, cost tracking, escalation handling, and shift handovers. Performance objectives focus on developing, deploying, supporting, and managing JLL India’s IFM function at the client site. Required key skills include facility management, technical and soft‑services operations, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and strong team‑handling capabilities.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a BE, Diploma, or B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and have at least five years of relevant experience. The position is on‑site in Bengaluru, Karnataka, with a 48‑hour weekly schedule and shift work.
