About the Role

• Develop robust schedules aligned with Heathrow-specific milestones. • Gather data from internal teams and supply chain partners to build programmes in Primavera P6 per Mace standards. • Apply QSRA risk analysis and ensure programmes meet the DCMA 14‑point assessment. • Create and manage schedule hierarchies (Level 1‑5) and communicate across project teams. • Produce detailed trade contractor schedules covering design through close‑out. • Update programmes with progress and change; report monthly. • Manage short‑term planning on live projects and integrate trade contractor schedules into the overall Mace programme. • Communicate planning matters to clients, design teams and contractors. • Conduct site walks to assess progress and ensure health and safety compliance. • Manage contractor progress reporting and integrate updates into the schedule hierarchy. • Monitor KPIs and produce weekly/monthly dashboards and reports. • Feed KPI and production data into the Mace planning database. • Support change management processes and assess programme impacts. • Prepare Time Impact Analyses to support compensation events.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Planner to lead fit‑out and asset replacement works in a live airport environment. The role demands deep expertise in planning, stakeholder engagement and programme management to drive successful delivery. • Extensive planning experience in live airport environments, preferably with a Tier 1 main contractor. • Proven track record delivering and installing programmes within UK airports. • Strong knowledge of airport baggage systems, including installation, testing and commissioning. • Deep understanding of NEC 3/4 contracts and programme management. • Expertise in Earned Value Management and detailed monthly reporting. • Strong digital skills and ability to build lasting client relationships. • Experience on large‑scale projects/programmes. • Relevant degree in construction or project management; working towards professional qualifications (APM, PMI, CIOB) is desirable. • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Office and NEC contract frameworks. • Fit‑out experience and background in construction or project management. • Knowledge of sector/market technical qualifications and certifications. • Sound technical expertise in HSE rules and relevant regulations. • Understanding of consultancy, construction, infrastructure and property sectors, including estimating, scheduling, contracts administration, procurement, commercial controls and reporting.
