Design Coordinator - System and MEPF

About the Role

The role involves designing mechanical, electrical and plumbing (M/E/P) systems to concept stage, meeting business, statutory, legal and contractual requirements for Government programmes, and providing Technical Assurance Management to ensure design principles are maintained by the contractor through design and construction. The position will also support the client in the tender process, condition surveys and handover. • Manage deliverables through direct reports. • Provide design and manage the developing design as per contract requirements. • Collaborate with wider design disciplines, client personnel and construction teams. • Assist with the production of reporting information. • Attend or participate in client meetings and design workshops as necessary. • Govern direct reports' work outputs to ensure timeliness, scope compliance, and expected quality. • Manage direct reports' training, appraisals, salary reviews and career development. • Develop the team in C2P, digital and net zero carbon areas in line with company directive. • Engage with business improvement directives where applicable. • Work collaboratively toward net zero carbon transition and manage associated emissions reductions.
