About the Role
The HazMat Industrial Services Driver/Technician is responsible for the safe and compliant transportation of various waste streams to generator sites, as well as the cleanup of industrial waste and emergency spill response projects. The role involves operating a range of light and heavy equipment, conducting DOT inspections before and after trips, maintaining vehicle logs, and performing both LTL pickups and full truck loads while ensuring proper housekeeping of equipment and sites. • Operate light and heavy cleanup equipment (tanker, roll‑off, vacuum trucks, forklift, etc.). • Respond to customer spills and emergencies during and after business hours. • Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip DOT vehicle inspections and maintain logs. • Conduct LTL pickups and full‑truck loads of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste. • Process and document manifests, work orders, and hazardous material handling. • Perform site and equipment housekeeping to ensure safety and compliance. • Serve as technician on lab‑pack, field service, and industrial service projects. • Maintain customer satisfaction through reliable service delivery. • Complete 40‑hour HAZWOPER training on hire. • Operate heavy equipment such as tankers, vacuum trucks, forklifts, and pallet‑jacks. • Use hand and shop tools with accuracy and attention to detail.
