About the Role

In this role you will work at a Home Depot store as a sales specialist focused on professional painting contractors. You will meet and form relationships with local pros, collaborate with them to select the right products, mix paint, provide necessary tools, and ensure a fast checkout so they can get back to work, delivering a premium paint‑store experience. Behr participates in E‑Verify, the DHS‑SSA system for confirming employment eligibility of newly hired employees in the United States. • Greet and assist professional painting contractors at the Home Depot Pro Desk. • Build and maintain relationships with local pros, understanding their specific needs. • Pull, tint, and prepare paint orders, including mixing and providing necessary tools. • Collaborate with Behr outside sales reps and Home Depot staff, lifting up to 75 lb as needed. • Enter leads and contacts into Salesforce CRM. • Provide fast, courteous checkout to ensure contractors can return to work promptly.

What You Bring

To thrive as a Pro Sales Associate, you must be approachable, organized, and genuinely interested in helping customers. Basic computer skills are needed for our customer management software, and an outgoing personality with a positive attitude helps you start conversations, while being a self‑starter lets you jump in wherever needed; no prior paint or sales experience is required because we will train you. We are looking for an outgoing personality who will support the Home Depot Pro Desk, get to know contractors and follow up on their needs. Collaboration with Behr’s outside sales reps and Home Depot staff is essential, including occasional lifting of up to 75 lb.
