About the Role

The Junior Electrical Design Engineer works independently to generate wiring packages for each production order, supporting the senior electrical engineer on custom projects and new products. The role also assists the applications engineering team with documentation, basic mechanical drawings, administrative tasks, and customer support calls. • Prepare as‑built electrical drawings using AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical. • Interpret customer electrical specifications and integrate components into burner panel designs. • Source and select components from vendors; generate specification drawings and purchasing documentation. • Create instructional blueprints for production staff to build and modify base panels. • Maintain expert knowledge of electronic controllers, wiring integration, and relevant electrical codes/UL standards. • Provide technical support to production during build and testing phases. • Work independently on wiring packages and assist senior electrical engineer with custom projects and new products. • Support the applications engineering team with document creation, basic mechanical drawings, administrative tasks, and customer support calls.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with at least six months of relevant experience, or a two‑year diploma with a minimum of two years in an electrical engineering role. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Windows 11, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical is required, and knowledge of electric motors and power systems is preferred. • Required: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (6+ months experience) or 2‑year diploma (2+ years experience). • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Windows 11, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical. • Preferred: Knowledge of electric motors and power systems.
