About the Role
You will play a pivotal role in shaping BRPD strategies on major, multi‑disciplinary projects, ensuring alignment with the Building Safety Act 2022 while working with designers, engineers and specialist teams. You will join a rapidly growing Design Management team focused on large, complex property and building projects, reporting to a Technical Director and helping shape the team’s direction and capabilities across sectors. The role offers the chance to influence innovative solutions, support bid development, and guide projects from inception through handover, all within a supportive environment that values collaboration and proactive problem‑solving. • Lead and develop BRPD strategies and processes for high‑risk and non‑high‑risk building projects. • Coordinate design teams, engineers and specialists to ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022. • Track project progress, report at high‑level review meetings, and resolve risks and issues across stakeholders. • Oversee preparation of design and construction documentation, including drawings, specifications and schedules. • Facilitate interdisciplinary design workshops and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and best practices. • Support bid development and assist in project handover to clients.

What You Bring
If you hold an engineering, architecture or design management degree, are close to chartered status, and have experience managing large, multi‑disciplinary projects, we invite you to apply and become part of our global community of more than 69,000 professionals making a positive impact. • Hold an Engineering, Architectural or Design Management degree and be chartered or nearing chartership. • Demonstrated experience as a client‑facing design manager or technical lead on large, multi‑disciplinary projects, familiar with RIBA stages 1‑3 and planning submissions. • Strong organisational, collaborative communication skills and a proactive, innovative mindset. • Ability to obtain security clearance prior to appointment.
