About the Role
The role manages the financial performance and productivity of multiple Operating Units, ensuring they meet or exceed annual objectives and successfully implement organizational initiatives. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing the area’s operating plan, reviewing market performance, counseling managers on program execution, and developing operating unit budgets with accurate financial and human‑resource forecasts. The manager oversees personnel functions such as selection, coaching, training, and performance evaluation, while also organizing resources, attending profit and loss reviews, and managing equipment utilization, maintenance, labor, and material costs. Additionally, the role implements programs to improve safety, productivity, and profitability, ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and other federal and state regulations. • Design and implement operating plans aligned with long‑range objectives. • Review market performance and establish performance metrics. • Advise managers on program execution and adjust work plans as needed. • Develop and forecast operating unit budgets and resource needs. • Support budget optimization and ensure compliance. • Oversee personnel functions: selection, coaching, training, performance evaluation, and input on termination, compensation, and promotions. • Coordinate resources to accomplish activities and schedule tasks. • Participate in P&L reviews and manage equipment utilization, maintenance, labor, and material costs. • Lead safety, productivity, and profitability initiatives while ensuring DOT/OSHA compliance.

What You Bring
Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree (or a high school diploma with four years of relevant experience). Preferred qualifications include seven years of operations management experience, at least three years leading a team, and demonstrated expertise in budgeting, safety program implementation, and labor‑relations issues. Benefits

The salary range is $145,000 to $205,000 for an office/on‑site or hybrid arrangement.
