About the Role

In this role you will direct and lead design teams across numerous projects, review work for completeness and accuracy, and assume responsibility for the economic wellbeing of each assignment. You will conduct business development, develop design standards and specifications, establish project budgets and schedules, and provide high‑level technical leadership, including Engineer of Record duties such as calculations, equipment selection, system layout, field investigation, and construction administration. • Lead design teams and ensure project deliverables are complete, accurate, and on schedule. • Oversee project economics, set budgets, schedules, and conduct business development activities. • Develop and enforce design standards, specifications, and criteria for MEP projects. • Produce CAD/BIM drawings, reports, and specifications aligned with client requirements. • Perform Engineer of Record duties: calculations, equipment selection, system layout, field investigations, and construction administration. • Manage staff resources and conduct QA/QC reviews of completed work. • Deliver consulting services such as due diligence reports, gap analyses, and feasibility studies. • Represent the firm with clients, contractors, architects, and other project stakeholders. • Maintain PE licensure and pursue ongoing professional education.

What You Bring

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, plumbing, or electrical engineering, PE licensure, and at least eight years of MEP industry experience. Hands‑on design expertise with CAD/Revit is essential, and continuing education is expected. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Plumbing, or Electrical engineering; 8+ years MEP experience; strong CAD/Revit skills.
