About the Role

The Area Sales Manager oversees sales performance and margin enhancement for an assigned region, building and leading a best‑in‑class sales team. Responsibilities include staffing, training, coaching, and close collaboration with the division’s operating team to meet goals on schedule. This position is ideal for a new‑home sales manager with a proven track record. • Lead, coach, and mentor sales team members to achieve performance targets • Assist the Director of Sales and Director of Marketing with sales‑related tasks • Implement sales goals and training programs aligned with divisional objectives • Guide New Home Consultants on sales techniques to improve performance and satisfaction • Coordinate between consultants and other team members to ensure timely closings • Track escrow activity and generate accurate sales reports • Review paperwork for regulatory compliance and liaise with escrow companies and lenders • Attend promotional events and conduct sales meetings to support divisional initiatives • Work more than eight hours per day in a construction trailer environment • May need to operate construction equipment and use computer keyboard and calculator

What You Bring

• Minimum five years of residential sales, management, or real‑estate experience • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance coverage • Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Ability to handle confrontational situations and maintain objectivity • Regular in‑person attendance at job sites and offices during normal work hours • Physically able to lift over 50 lb, climb stairs/ladders, bend, stoop, and reach

Benefits

Base salary ranges from $66,560 to $109,668 annually, with eligibility for bonuses and commissions. Additional compensation may be adjusted for qualifications, geographic differentials, and operational considerations. The role includes the full suite of Lennar benefits.
