About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous waste removal services. The role includes completing pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, adhering to all company, state and federal regulations, and submitting daily vehicle condition reports. Drivers also must maintain productivity standards while delivering reliable service to customers along assigned routes. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and complete daily VCRs. • Operate the collection truck safely on assigned routes, load refuse, use the compactor, and dispose material at the designated facility. • Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely and professional service. • Identify, tag, and report unsatisfactory waste containers according to procedures. • Clean accidental spills and maintain vehicle cleanliness to minimize downtime. • Complete route, productivity sheets and other required reports accurately. • Follow all safety policies, participate in the ReSOP program, and adhere to company rules. • Access health care and dependent care spending accounts. • Participate in the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EAP). • Purchase company stock through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
