About the Role

Core responsibilities include performing repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide range of commercial door systems, using carpentry expertise for partition framing and door/window installations, and managing multiple projects while meeting time constraints. The technician must work effectively both independently and within a team, maintain meticulous attention to detail, and deliver a high level of customer service in a fast‑paced environment. • Repair and replace ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, and automatic folding, swing, and sliding doors. • Perform preventative maintenance on commercial automatic door systems. • Manage multiple projects while adhering to deadlines and time constraints. • Maintain a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. • Provide excellent customer service in a high‑pace environment.

What You Bring

The current opening is for an Automatic Door Service Technician. The role requires an experienced technician who can service, repair, and replace ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow‑metal, storefront, and automatic folding, swing, and sliding doors. AAADM certification is preferred, and candidates should have at least two years of experience as an automatic‑door installer or service technician, a clean driving record, and strong mechanical and carpentry skills. • Use carpentry skills for partition framing and door/window installation. • Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail. • AAADM certification preferred; minimum 2 years of automatic door service experience required. • Experience with manufacturers such as Horton, Stanley, Record USA, Besam, and Assa Abloy is a plus.
