About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck, delivering prompt and courteous waste removal services while ensuring vehicle compliance with Company safety standards and completing daily vehicle condition reports. Key duties include conducting pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, following route sheets to load, compact, and dispose of waste, interacting professionally with customers and dispatchers, tagging unsatisfactory containers, monitoring for prohibited waste, cleaning spills, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and completing required reports and productivity sheets. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and complete daily condition reports. • Safely operate collection truck along assigned route, load, compact, and dispose of waste at designated sites. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers and monitor for prohibited waste. • Clean accidental spills and maintain vehicle cleanliness to minimize downtime. • Complete route, productivity sheets, and other required reports. • Meet departmental productivity standards and adhere to all safety policies, including participation in the ReSOP program.

What You Bring
The role requires strong customer service, time management, follow‑through, adherence to policies, honesty, trustworthiness, and a sense of pride in work. Minimum qualification is a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brakes endorsement. • Hold a Class B (or higher) CDL with air‑brake endorsement.
