About the Role

The Safety Coordinator supports and assists Knight Electricals’ safety programs to ensure a safe, compliant work environment across construction projects. The role involves maintaining records of training programs, scheduling training, maintaining safety equipment, managing fleet vehicles and safety compliance, and managing inventory of safety‑related items. This role will require travel and working closely in the field with project teams to proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards. • Develop, assist, and monitor site‑specific safety programs and procedures • Maintain accurate records of safety training, certifications, and compliance documentation • Schedule and coordinate safety training, orientations, and safety briefings • Manage logs and inventory of safety equipment and related items • Support fleet vehicle safety inspections and ensure compliance • Conduct jobsite safety audits and track corrective actions • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulations • Participate in pre‑task planning meetings, safety committees, and customer meetings • Promote a Zero Accident culture and safety stewardship across projects

What You Bring

• Hold a valid driver’s license and be able to travel as required • Possess an associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, occupational safety, safety management, or a related field • Have 0‑2 years of experience in safety coordination or construction safety (including internships or academic experience) • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, DOT compliance, and construction safety best practices (preferred) • Ability to learn and comprehend safety training and policies • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and safety audit software • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities • Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a field‑based environment

Benefits

Total compensation ranges from $40,000 to $60,000, based on education and experience, and includes paid time off, travel expenses, per diem, and a full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and additional benefits).
