About the Role
The Road Mechanic is responsible for preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a diverse fleet that includes aerial work platforms, construction equipment, generators, pumps, HVAC and oil/gas equipment, ensuring safety and minimizing downtime in remote locations. • Work on a variety of makes, models & equipment in challenging remote locations • Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management • May need to provide mechanic’s tools of trade • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to minimize equipment downtime • Service a fleet that includes aerial work platforms, generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil/gas equipment

What You Bring
Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, with 3–5 years of experience servicing diesel, heavy construction, or specialty equipment, and a valid driver’s license. Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, the ability to adapt to fast‑paced priorities, and possibly bilingual abilities are essential; tools of the trade may need to be supplied. The position requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 lb or more, working indoors and outdoors as needed. The role may involve flexible priorities and safety‑focused teamwork. • High school diploma or GED required; trade school training preferred • 3‑5 years of mechanic experience with diesel, heavy construction, or specialty equipment strongly preferred • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; CDL may be required in some locations • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals • Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals • Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment • Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs • Lift 50 lb or more and perform physically demanding tasks such as bending, squatting, and crouching
