About the Role

The Project Scheduler at Sundt Construction serves as the in‑house expert for creating and updating CPM schedules throughout every phase of a project, from concept to close‑out, collaborating directly with the project superintendent and potentially supervising scheduler assistants; two levels exist based on experience. Key duties include analyzing schedule performance for claims, integrating design changes, managing schedule execution with resources, conducting review meetings, developing baseline, proposal, and as‑built schedules, providing monthly status reports, and maintaining a historical schedule database with weekly updates. • Analyze CPM schedule performance to support claim development. • Incorporate design conflicts and clarifications into the CPM schedule. • Manage CPM schedule execution, coordinating means, manpower, equipment, and materials. • Lead schedule review meetings during proposal, baseline, and update phases. • Create baseline schedules using logic provided by the superintendent. • Develop proposal‑phase schedules from estimating data and historical records. • Produce final as‑built schedules at project completion. • Deliver monthly schedule status reports to the general manager. • Maintain and update the historical CPM schedule database. • Revise project schedules weekly based on superintendent reports. • Use telephone, computer, and email regularly for communication. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Occasionally climb stairs or ladders. • Interact with people regularly throughout the shift. • Occasionally lift, push, or pull objects. • Sit, stand, or walk short distances for the duration of the shift.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least five years of CPM scheduling experience in similar construction, a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent experience, strong communication and supervisory skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and deep knowledge of construction methods and cost control. The role requires wearing required PPE, performing typical construction site movements, complying with safety standards, and is classified as safety‑sensitive due to potential impact on employee and public health. • Minimum five years of CPM scheduling experience in similar construction. • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent experience. • Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory abilities. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. • Comprehensive knowledge of construction technology, equipment, methods, and cost control. • Wear required personal protective equipment (steel‑toed shoes, hard hat, etc.). • Reach above shoulder height and below waist frequently. • Stooping, kneeling, or bending occasionally. • Frequent manual handling of objects (grasp, lift, carry).
