About the Role
The role involves assisting with third‑party recognitions, supporting the deployment of MESH (Management of Environmental, Safety, Security, and Health) element champions, and maintaining effective training programs to meet EHS regulatory and corporate standards. The incumbent will support the EHS Manager in setting and achieving site‑specific objectives that align with corporate EHS strategies, facilitate risk assessments, and collaborate with the Site Safety Team and EHS champions to conduct annual regulatory evaluations. Additional duties include ensuring key EHS operational controls are implemented, driving timely completion of EHS actions, and encouraging engagement in site EHS targets. • Assist with third‑party recognitions and support MESH element champion deployment. • Maintain and track EHS training programs to meet regulatory and corporate standards. • Facilitate risk assessments and conduct annual evaluations of EHS requirements with the safety team. • Implement key EHS operational controls and ensure timely completion of associated actions. • Engage and motivate staff to achieve site‑specific EHS targets and objectives. • Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, lifting up to 50 lb, and working at heights in all weather conditions.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or GED, with at least three years of industrial manufacturing experience, or an Associate’s Degree with five years of relevant experience. Prior industrial safety experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, and strong verbal and written communication skills are required. The position demands excellent interpersonal abilities, the capacity to motivate employees in safety initiatives, and strong organizational skills for detailed recordkeeping and reporting. The role requires the ability to use proper PPE, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lb. Candidates must be able to work at heights, have clear vision (with or without corrective lenses), and be able to bend, reach, and lift. No relocation assistance is provided; applicants must reside within a 50‑mile radius of the Minden, LA facility, except active‑duty military members who are exempt. • Hold a High School Diploma/GED (3 yrs experience) or Associate’s Degree (5 yrs experience) in industrial manufacturing. • Demonstrate prior industrial safety experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels. • Reside within a 50‑mile radius of the Minden, LA facility (relocation not provided; military candidates exempt).
