About the Role
The Senior Architect – Rail position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and will lead the architectural design and planning of large‑scale rail infrastructure, including stations, depots, and related facilities. This role requires integrating architectural concepts with engineering systems, ensuring safety, functionality, and compliance with international rail standards. • Develop and oversee comprehensive architectural designs for rail stations, depots, and associated facilities. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate architectural designs with engineering and environmental considerations. • Lead client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and project progress. • Ensure compliance with local and international rail standards, regulations, and best practices. • Manage and mentor junior architects and design teams, fostering excellence and innovation. • Implement quality‑assurance processes to maintain high standards of design documentation. • Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to resolve design issues during construction. • Stay current on emerging rail architecture trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred. • Professional registration as a licensed architect or engineer. • 10+ years of rail architecture/engineering experience, leading large‑scale projects. • Advanced knowledge of rail infrastructure design principles and systems (track, signaling, electrification). • Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD and Revit. • Strong project management and multi‑disciplinary coordination skills. • Excellent communication and presentation abilities for diverse audiences. • Problem‑solving and critical‑thinking expertise. • Familiarity with international rail standards and regulations. • Middle East experience advantageous; willingness to travel to project sites.
