About the Role
Plan, lay out, and perform all types of carpentry work in accordance with applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards, and assist in other crafts as requested by project supervision. This role requires adherence to quality and safety standards while applying trade skills and knowledge. • Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage, and time. • Apply high proficiency in all related trade mathematics. • Inspect subordinates' work for accuracy and compliance; explain deficiencies and take corrective action. • Identify improvement opportunities, share knowledge, and teach others. • Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members. • Produce high‑quality work safely and productively at all times. • Provide feedback to ensure materials, tools, equipment, and information are available for the work. • Read and understand drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards; effectively utilize trade tools and equipment. • Use telephone, computer, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis for communication. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas. • Use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects frequently. • Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. • Lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lb occasionally.

What You Bring
• Possess 1–4 years of industrial/commercial construction experience with in‑depth carpentry knowledge (levels I‑Sr.). • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. • Wear required personal protective equipment, including steel‑toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, and vest. • Reach above shoulder height and below waist frequently; stoop, kneel, or bend occasionally. • Work up to a 12‑hour shift performing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.
