About the Role

The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. The role includes ensuring the vehicle meets the company's safety standards before each shift, adhering to all company, state, and federal regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Key duties involve conducting thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, following route sheets and maps to service customers, operating manual or automatic controls to load, compact, and dispose of waste, and interacting professionally with customers and dispatchers. The driver must also identify and tag unsatisfactory containers, monitor waste for compliance, clean any spills, keep the vehicle in operational condition, and maintain required productivity standards while participating in the company's safety program. • Conduct complete pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections daily • Safely operate collection truck along assigned routes and to disposal sites • Load, compact, and unload waste according to company procedures • Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers per departmental guidelines • Clean spills and maintain safety standards during waste handling • Monitor vehicle condition and clean packer blade and truck body on each trip • Complete route, productivity, and vehicle condition reports accurately
