About the Role
• Manage development and delivery of projects within the Building Southern business unit. • Build and maintain client and supply‑chain relationships across the region. • Convert framework contracts from second stage to financial close. • Provide technical input for pre‑qualifications, tenders and bids. • Lead personal development reviews and organise training for staff. • Promote end‑to‑end solutions and a behavioural safety culture on all projects. • Champion Delivering Excellence, Right First Time, and CBAB initiatives. • Ensure robust quality management from bid stage through construction and after‑care. • Implement regional after‑care strategy and use VfP for information exchange. • Lead by example, influencing behaviours and addressing regulatory changes.

What You Bring
• Currently hold a senior construction position with a portfolio of projects valued at £5 m or more. • Extensive experience in new build, refurbishment and fit‑out projects. • Strong commercial acumen, technical capability and public‑sector client relationships. • Entrepreneurial mindset with a personable leadership style that motivates and challenges teams. • Ability to identify industry strengths, weaknesses and opportunities and address non‑compliance.
