About the Role

The Sourcing Specialist develops and implements sourcing strategies to meet raw material needs throughout the Business Unit. This role is critical for ensuring the timely acquisition of commodities and supporting manufacturing operations. • Lead sourcing of major commodity items for the Business Unit. • Analyze potential suppliers in the market. • Collaborate with corporate sourcing on cost‑savings projects. • Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate within budget limits. • Work with Product Engineers to develop cost‑effective components. • Coordinate with manufacturing management to meet inventory goals. • Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance, leading improvement efforts.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a technical field (required). • 3–5 years of materials sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment (required). • Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and drawings (required). • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and materials. • Familiarity with quality systems, processes, and requirements. • Demonstrated negotiation experience. • Strong analytical skills.
