About the Role

The position encompasses a range of responsibilities, including providing administrative support to attorneys, drafting and filing legal documents, and managing calendars. It also involves leading legal research, compiling data for projects, ensuring compliance with court and agency rules, and maintaining organized case files and information‑retrieval systems. Additional duties cover travel coordination, presentation planning, and driving continuous process improvements within the department. • Provide administrative support to assigned attorneys, including calendar management and document drafting. • Lead legal research using PGE's online tools and external resources; train other assistants as needed. • Oversee legal projects: compile data, draft pleadings, and ensure compliance with court and agency rules. • Maintain organized case files, client lists, and create information‑retrieval systems. • Coordinate travel arrangements, expense reports, and prepare presentations for attorneys and outside counsel. • Drive process improvements, participate in departmental goal setting, and serve on committees.

Candidates must hold at least a high school diploma or equivalent and have five or more years of administrative experience, with a minimum of three years directly supporting attorneys or regulatory personnel. The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days per week in the office and the flexibility to work long or variable hours, including during severe inclement weather.
