About the Role

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data within SDI computer systems to keep information organized, accessible, and error‑free. This role ensures that data from various sources is entered promptly and supports the team’s administrative needs. Core duties include performing data entry and order entry into company databases, organizing both electronic and physical files, and transcribing information from multiple sources into spreadsheets or databases. The clerk also collects data from different departments, performs basic math calculations, creates Excel pivot tables, and provides general administrative support. Additional responsibilities involve data collection and cleansing, exploration, analysis, visualization, and reporting, as well as collaborating with teams to address business questions and develop statistical models. What You Bring

Required knowledge includes database management systems, business acumen to translate data into actionable insights, and strong problem‑solving abilities. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook, is essential, along with the ability to interpret written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions with minimal supervision. Candidates must have a high‑school diploma and 2–3 years of data‑entry experience, a valid driver’s license, and may be required to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
