About the Role
The Pump and Power Road Technician 1 is responsible for performing basic diagnostics and repairs on pump, power, and HVAC equipment, prioritizing rapid return to service to minimize downtime. Work includes servicing dehumidifiers, generators, air compressors, and related electrical and hydraulic systems while adhering to safety standards. The role requires physical tasks such as bending, lifting 25 lb or more, and working both indoors and outdoors. • Perform diagnostics and repairs on pump, power, and HVAC equipment • Return equipment to service quickly to minimize downtime • Read and interpret electrical schematics and hydraulic flow drawings

What You Bring
Candidates must have 3‑5 years of experience maintaining pump and power equipment, a valid driver’s license with an acceptable record, and a DOT physical examination. Required certifications include EPA Section 608 universal certification and, where applicable, refrigeration certification. Required knowledge encompasses basic refrigeration, electrical engines, generators, compressed‑air treatment, and the ability to read electrical schematics and hydraulic drawings. • Meet physical demands such as lifting 25 lb, bending, squatting, and working outdoors • Hold 3–5 years experience with pump and power equipment maintenance • Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record • Maintain a DOT physical examination and EPA Section 608 universal certification • Understand basic refrigeration, electrical engines, generators, and compressed‑air treatment
