About the Role
The Wastewater Treatment & Effluent Management Business Class Leader is responsible for wastewater project execution, staff development, and client service management, providing technical leadership to deliver high‑quality solutions while driving project quality, delivery, and strategic growth. • Lead execution of wastewater projects, providing technical and project leadership. • Develop and mentor staff, fostering high‑performing teams. • Manage client relationships, delivering quality service and financial reporting. • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business leads to meet annual sales targets. • Oversee business development and marketing budgets and implement growth initiatives. • Create and execute strategic plans, including market expansion and investment prioritization. • Serve as Client Manager for assigned accounts, developing long‑term market‑share strategies. • Lead pursuit teams, develop win strategies, and produce compelling proposals. • Conduct debriefs and quality reviews to improve competitiveness. • Direct content‑marketing campaigns to strengthen HDR’s brand. • Recruit, train, and supervise business development and marketing personnel. • Apply HDR’s risk‑management framework in new‑business pursuits. • Represent HDR in professional associations to elevate brand presence.

What You Bring
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, a professional or engineering registration in Idaho, and at least ten years of experience. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to quality, teamwork, and HDR’s employee‑owned culture, as well as experience leading diverse teams and collaborating across business units. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field and maintain Idaho professional/engineering registration. • Possess at least 10 years of relevant experience and a track record of team leadership.
