About the Role
The QA/QC Manager will oversee quality control for electrical data‑center and utility‑scale solar projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations and internal specifications throughout the project lifecycle. Key duties include developing and executing comprehensive quality‑control plans, performing regular inspections and audits, qualifying and auditing suppliers and contractors, maintaining detailed records and reporting to senior management, leading root‑cause investigations and corrective actions, delivering training on quality processes, and coordinating with health‑safety teams to integrate quality and environmental compliance. • Develop and implement comprehensive QC plans for electrical and solar projects. • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and supplier/contractor evaluations. • Maintain accurate documentation, including inspection and non‑conformance reports. • Lead root‑cause analyses and drive corrective and preventive actions. • Provide training to project personnel on quality processes and industry standards. • Ensure compliance with local, state, federal regulations and industry codes (ISO, IEC, NEC). • Coordinate quality control activities with health, safety, and environmental teams.

The company has been operating for over 100 years, delivering integrated, sustainable solutions for cities, buildings and environments. The role requires on‑site work in active commercial construction environments, wearing required personal protective equipment and potentially working nights, weekends or overtime. Compensation is based on experience and skill level. Qualifications include at least four years of hands‑on electrical field or project‑engineering experience, proven quality‑control expertise in electrical construction and utility‑scale solar, strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft AX, Project), knowledge of ISO/IEC/NEC standards, and preferred ASQ certification. Physical requirements involve frequent walking, standing, lifting 10 lb, and the ability to work in confined or adverse weather conditions. • Require 4+ years of electrical construction or project engineering experience, preferably in utility‑scale solar. • Strong computer proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft AX and Project. • Preferred ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence certification. • On‑site work in active construction sites with required PPE, occasional night/weekend overtime, and travel up to 25 %.
