About the Role

The Commercial Appraiser will engage valuation assignments, define the scope of work, determine appropriate valuation approaches, and complete commercial real estate valuation and consulting projects. Duties include data collection, market research, analyzing highest‑and‑best‑use scenarios, revenue and expense performance, cash‑flow modeling, comparable sales analysis, detailed cost analyses, and market comparisons. The role requires advanced analytical, quantitative, and communication skills and may include mentorship, business development, and client relationship management. • Engage valuation assignments, define scope, and select appropriate valuation approaches. • Conduct data collection, market research, and analyze highest‑and‑best‑use scenarios. • Perform revenue and expense analysis, develop discounted cash flow models, and assess comparable sales. • Execute detailed cost analyses and market comparisons to form opinions of value. • Provide mentorship to junior staff and support business development and client relationship management.

Advanced analytical and quantitative skills are essential. • Hold a bachelor’s degree and a Certified General Appraiser license; MAI candidacy is a plus. • Possess 2–5 years of commercial real‑estate appraisal experience and proficiency in MS Office. • Experience with Argus Enterprise or Rockport VAL is advantageous. • Demonstrate strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills with attention to detail.

The position offers a salary plus fee‑split with total annual compensation ranging from $75,000 to $200,000, depending on factors such as location, experience, and collective bargaining status.
