The Operations Manager Accelerated Program (OMAP) is an intensive 18‑month development experience designed to prepare high‑potential leaders for future roles as Operations Managers. Through structured rotations, hands‑on experience, and formal training, participants gain deep knowledge of operational excellence, leadership, and business strategy within a stable, essential industry. OMAP serves as a launchpad for a meaningful career at Republic Services, a collaborative, mission‑driven organization that values innovation, safety, and service. The training experience includes rotational assignments across key functions such as Operations, Sales, Finance, Maintenance, and Post‑Collection, allowing fellows to lead large teams and manage complex infrastructure. Leadership development workshops, guest speaker sessions, and project‑based learning are complemented by ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations. • Communicate effectively and build interpersonal relationships. • Possess working knowledge of business finance, controls, and performance metrics. • Minimum two years of supervisory or management experience. • Willingness to relocate for rotational assignments.
