About the Role

Parsons is seeking a Senior Project Cost Control Manager to develop, manage, and execute all phases of project cost controls. The role leads a team of cost engineers and accountants in internal budget control, cost forecasting, and other cost management functions. • Set up baseline budget and WBS in coordination with the Project Manager and Scheduler. • Analyze, forecast, and report cost status against the baseline with the planning team. • Prepare and update weekly and monthly cost tracking reports. • Establish resource, revenue, and cost projections for projects. • Perform variance analysis and recommend corrective actions. • Leverage historical data to inform future planning and forecasting. • Monitor project progress and conduct Earned Value Analysis. • Participate in monthly and quarterly reviews, explaining variances and justifications. • Provide guidance on complex cost control issues and support resolution. • Assist the Project Director in reviewing and finalizing the business plan. • Conduct performance reviews and develop personnel for direct reports. • Customize project control systems to meet project-specific requirements. • Interface with clients, attend meetings, and deliver statistical reports. • Coordinate with Corporate Project Control, Legal, Finance, and Commercial teams on financial, procurement, contract, and tax matters. • Establish and implement best practices for budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls at the project level. • Ensure all costs are properly charged by collaborating with other departments.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Engineering. • Minimum 15+ years of experience in engineering consultancy. • Advanced proficiency in Excel. • Strong stakeholder management skills.
