Cleaner Part Time- 2nd Shift

About the Role

Typical responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, and washing interior floors using both manual methods and commercial floor machines, vacuuming rugs and carpets, dusting furniture and fixtures, cleaning interior windows and glass, and maintaining bathrooms by cleaning fixtures, restocking supplies, and monitoring for defects. The role also involves collecting and disposing of building trash, replacing waste liners, removing snow and ice from entrances, and performing periodic high‑dusting, polishing, and wall‑washing tasks. • Sweep, mop, and clean interior floors using manual and commercial floor machines. • Vacuum rugs and carpets in offices and public areas; spot‑clean and shampoo rugs as directed. • Dust and clean furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, light fixtures, and high‑reach surfaces. • Wash interior windows, glass, doors, and window trims; clean entrance glass. • Clean and restock bathrooms daily, including fixtures, tiles, dispensers, and waste removal. • Monitor and report issues such as clogged urinals or non‑functional lighting. • Collect building trash, replace liners, and manage waste containers. • Remove snow and ice from entrances and walkways as required. • Perform periodic tasks like high‑dusting, leather/wood polishing, and wall washing. • Follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and cooperate as a team member. • Operate cleaning tools and equipment, including backpack‑style portable vacuums. • Maintain attention to detail, organization, high energy, and endurance.
