About the Role

• Define OT security architecture, standards, and best practices • Lead OT cybersecurity strategy across industrial and clean energy campuses • Support incident response, vulnerability management, and patching with minimal downtime • Serve as an OT cybersecurity SME, mentoring engineers and supporting secure-by-design initiatives • Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and gap analyses for ICS/OT environments • Ensure compliance with NIST 800-82, IEC 62443, NERC CIP, and related standards • Design and implement segmented OT networks aligned with the Purdue Model and Zero Trust • Develop OT-specific threat models using MITRE ATT&CK and energy-sector frameworks

What You Bring

SCADA / OT Cybersecurity Engineer They are seeking an experienced SCADA / OT Cybersecurity Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and operation of cybersecurity controls across their industrial control systems and energy facilities. This role serves as the primary OT cybersecurity lead, partnering closely with SCADA, operations, and engineering teams to secure critical infrastructure. • 7+ years of OT/SCADA cybersecurity experience, including 3+ years of hands-on field testing • Experience with tools such as Kali Linux, Dragos, Claroty, or similar • Industry certifications preferred (CISSP, CEH, OSCP, GICSP, etc.) • Strong knowledge of ICS protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, OPC) and network security fundamentals • Willingness to travel up to 25% to Texas-based sites • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field
