About the Role

The role emphasizes delivering exceptional service and communication to members, guests, and colleagues. You will greet guests promptly, anticipate their needs, and respond swiftly to all requests. Responsibilities include processing transactions through the POS system, issuing accurate checks, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area, completing daily stocking, adhering to food safety standards, and performing opening and closing duties according to SOPs. The position requires conducting inventory, reporting maintenance or safety issues, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with all government, safety, health, and security regulations. • Provide exceptional service and communication to members, guests, and team members. • Greet guests promptly, anticipate needs, and respond with urgency. • Maintain thorough understanding of cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage pairings. • Accurately enter transactions into POS, issue checks, and close sales per policies. • Verify food orders for completeness and accuracy, noting allergies. • Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked while adhering to food safety standards. • Perform opening and closing duties in line with SOPs and conduct inventory as required. • Report maintenance or safety issues promptly and ensure equipment is properly maintained. • Comply with all government, safety, health, and security regulations.

What You Bring

Servers must possess in‑depth knowledge of menu items, ingredients, specials, and beverage pairings, provide recommendations, and ensure accurate order delivery while being attentive to food allergies. Candidates need at least a high school diploma, one year of full‑service serving experience in a fast‑paced, high‑end environment, knowledge of ServSafe/HACCP, and strong wine and beverage expertise, along with exceptional attention to detail. Additional expectations include flexibility to pivot to new projects, a positive professional demeanor, strong interpersonal communication, ability to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays, teamwork, calmness under pressure, language proficiency, and meeting physical demands such as standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lb. • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of menu items, ingredients, specials, and recommend based on preferences or allergies. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of full‑service serving experience. • Possess knowledge of ServSafe, HACCP, and be able to obtain a State Food Safety Certificate. • Demonstrate robust knowledge of wines and beverages. • Exhibit extraordinary attention to detail, quality, and service. • Show flexibility, positive attitude, and strong communication skills. • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; ability to work long hours. • Ability to work effectively in a team and stay calm during busy periods. • Meet physical demands: stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb, and work in various weather conditions.
