About the Role
As the Assistant Director of Aviation Finance and Budget, you will define and direct the work of the Non‑Aeronautical Revenue and Operating Budget team, providing leadership, supervision, and coaching to ensure staff have the training and resources they need. You will establish policies and methodologies for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and result reconciliation, while setting priorities, assigning resources, and managing the Aviation division’s annual budget development process, including schedule creation, target setting, request tracking, and full‑time equivalent reconciliation. Your role includes overseeing the budget development for non‑aeronautical business units such as rental car, parking, dining, retail, clubs, lounges, and commercial properties, presenting financial results to division leaders, airlines, ground‑transportation operators, the Commission and executives, and managing a multi‑year revenue model to support division‑wide forecasts. • Define and implement budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting policies. • Lead the Aviation division’s annual budget development, including scheduling, target setting, and FTE reconciliation. • Oversee revenue and expense budgeting for non‑aeronautical units (rental car, parking, dining, retail, clubs, lounges, commercial properties). • Present financial results to internal and external stakeholders such as division leaders, airlines, and the Commission. • Manage the multi‑year non‑aeronautical revenue model to inform division‑wide forecasts. • Ensure compliance with applicable policies, laws, and regulations and advise on performance improvements. • Serve as Acting Finance & Budget Director when needed.

What You Bring
You will monitor compliance with policies, laws, and regulations, provide financial recommendations for emerging issues and performance improvements, and may serve as Acting Finance & Budget Director in the director’s absence. The position requires at least six years of financial management and analysis experience, three years of supervisory experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and demonstrated leadership, analytical, organizational, communication, and project‑management skills, with a commitment to equity. • Minimum 6 years of financial management and analysis experience. • At least 3 years of supervising finance or budgeting staff. • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration (preferred). • Demonstrated advanced leadership, analytical, organizational, communication, and project‑management skills.
