About the Role

• Review and identify title defects and curative requirements, notifying relevant stakeholders as appropriate. • Prepare project reports and review title document packages. • Maintain accurate records of title research activities to ensure proper backup information exists. • Collaborate closely with team members, including Project Managers and RES staff. • Support RES Title Agent 3 in development and train junior staff on task completion and procedures. • Recognize when to escalate title issues to RES Agent and Project Manager.

What You Bring

Preferred qualifications include a degree or certification related to right of way, title, paralegal, real‑property law or mortgage lending, or equivalent experience, with a preference for local candidates. Required qualifications are a minimum of three years’ experience in right of way, title, paralegal, real‑property law or mortgage lending, strong understanding of real‑estate documents, excellent communication, solid organizational skills, and familiarity with industry tools such as Database, ProjectWise, GIS, MS Office, Webex and Teams. • Perform basic principles in reading, writing, retracing and interpreting legal descriptions such as parent parcel, metes and bounds, and subdivision. • Degree or certification in right of way, title, paralegal, real‑property law, mortgage lending, or equivalent experience. • Minimum of 3 years experience with right of way, title, paralegal, real‑property law, or mortgage lending. • Ability to understand real estate documents such as appraisals, surveys, deeds, easements, liens, judgments, and court records. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Solid organizational and planning skills. • Specific industry regulatory knowledge (a plus). • Familiarity with Database, ProjectWise, and GIS (a plus). • Proficient with MS Office Suite, Webex, and Teams.
