About the Role
In this role you will perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls tools, troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical, electrical and controls issues, and respond to warranty calls. You will load controller software, conduct diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices, keep management and customers informed, calibrate systems, complete required documentation, and adhere to safety standards while recommending efficiency solutions and providing quotes. • Perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls tools • Troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems • Respond to warranty service calls • Load system-level controller software and run diagnostics • Calibrate systems with electronic test equipment • Document commissioning results, changes, and as-built information • Communicate job progress to management, contractors, and customers • Complete administrative tasks such as timesheets and expense reports • Follow all safety standards and attend required training • Provide recommendations, solutions, and quotes to improve facility efficiency

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a two-year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a related field, or has at least two years of industry experience servicing HVAC electronic or mechanical systems. Required knowledge includes HVAC control systems, facilities management, site preparation, and peripheral equipment installation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, leadership abilities, and proficiency with PC and HVAC-related software are essential. • 2-year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or related field, or 2+ years relevant experience • Knowledge of HVAC control systems, facilities management, site preparation, and equipment installation • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences • Leadership ability to support mechanics on non-complex building automation jobs • Proficiency with PC and HVAC-related software programming
