About the Role
The Laborer role at Republic Services involves safely and efficiently performing general labor duties across hauling sites, transfer stations, recycling centers, or landfills. Responsibilities encompass yard cleanup, fueling vehicles and equipment, basic vehicle operation, and routine office maintenance. • Clean up work areas. • Clean track‑type equipment. • Perform yard work such as mowing and paper pick‑up. • Operate site vehicles and equipment (e.g., water trucks, sweepers, mowers). • Conduct general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial tasks. • Install temporary wind fences as needed. • Direct site traffic when required. • Provide comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. • Supply life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment coverage. • Provide an Employee and Family Assistance Program (EAP). • Offer an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
