About the Role
As a Fiber Splicer you are responsible for producing end‑to‑end fiber optic networks, doing the job right and striving to be the best. You thrive on challenges and take pride in quality work. • Test and troubleshoot fiber optic network continuity • Operate testing equipment and resolve common fiber optic challenges • Prepare fiber splice enclosures (e.g., Tyco, CommScope, Corning) • Use fusion splicer and test equipment such as OTDR (1310, 1550), DWDM, CWDM, 945 OLTS, Max Tester, and power meter • Apply fiber engineering knowledge to read designs, documentation, assess light levels and dB loss • Work on outdoor utility construction sites • Prioritize safety daily

What You Bring

You bring 3–5 years of fiber splicing and troubleshooting experience, and MOS codes V80B, B05A, 3D157, 6423, and 5699 align well with this role. You are looking for long‑term projects and enjoy working closely with your team. • Deliver consistently high‑quality work • Strong problem‑solving and hands‑on approach • 3–5 years of fiber splicing and troubleshooting experience • Comfortable working from ladders or bucket trucks • Flexible with shift variations and overtime • MOS codes V80B, B05A, 3D157, 6423, 5699 applicable
