About the Role

As a Fiber Splicer you are responsible for producing end‑to‑end fiber optic networks, doing the job right and striving to be the best. You thrive on challenges and take pride in quality work. • Test and troubleshoot fiber optic network continuity • Operate testing equipment and resolve common fiber optic challenges • Prepare fiber splice enclosures (e.g., Tyco, CommScope, Corning) • Use fusion splicer and test equipment such as OTDR (1310, 1550), DWDM, CWDM, 945 OLTS, Max Tester, and power meter • Apply fiber engineering knowledge to read designs, documentation, assess light levels and dB loss • Work on outdoor utility construction sites • Prioritize safety daily

You bring 3–5 years of fiber splicing and troubleshooting experience, and MOS codes V80B, B05A, 3D157, 6423, and 5699 align well with this role.
