About the Role
As the Journeyman Electrician, you will plan layouts, install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment. The ideal candidate will mentor and develop Apprentice Electricians as well as promote the core values of FSG through excellent customer service and assuring the safety of all work. • Prepare sketches or follow diagrams/blueprints to position wiring and equipment before walls, ceilings, and flooring are completed. • Plan new or modified installations to minimize material waste, ensure future maintenance access, and meet safety and code requirements. • Layout and install electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to job specs and local codes. • Install control and distribution devices such as switches, relays, circuit‑breaker panels, busbars, feeders, power systems, and switchgear. • Repair faulty equipment or systems. • Perform work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair wiring, equipment, or fixtures. • Advise management when continued operation of equipment could be hazardous. • Meet attendance standards and follow notification procedures for lateness or absence. • Maintain a current electrician’s license or identification card in compliance with regulations.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, three to five years of electrical construction experience, and a valid driver’s license. They should be able to multitask while staying organized, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate positive customer service abilities.
