About the Role

The role involves creating a growth vision for the personal practice while contributing to the broader transportation engineering practice, supporting marketing and business development with municipal, state, and private clients, and delivering a variety of transportation planning, traffic engineering, roadway, and ITS projects. • Create and execute a growth vision for the personal practice and the local transportation engineering practice. • Support marketing and business development with municipal, state, and private clients. • Deliver transportation planning, traffic engineering, roadway, and ITS projects. • Pursue independent leads and client opportunities beyond existing accounts. • Provide strategic vision, business planning, and goal setting. • Build and maintain positive client relationships with open communication. • Grow and lead a Transportation/Traffic practice team. • Manage projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, and mentor personnel.

What You Bring

Qualifications include more than 12 years of relevant experience, a Professional Engineer license, a proven record of winning and delivering projects locally, established agency relationships, and strong communication, leadership, and technical skills. • 12+ years of transportation planning, traffic engineering, design, operations, or ITS experience. • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE). • Proven success in winning and delivering local projects. • Established relationships with local DOTs, agencies, and municipalities. • Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably per agency specifications. • Excellent communication, leadership, and technical expertise. • Strong client engagement and problem‑solving skills. • Ability to effectively mentor staff and direct resources positively.
