About the Role

The analyst will apply DoD acquisition directives to develop Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, and guidance, and will create acquisition plans, Justifications and Approvals, RFP packages, Statements of Work, and contract data requirement lists. They will interpret MDA guidance, lead strategic acquisition planning, and coordinate integrated strategies with MDS and OGA partners, while engaging senior DoD officials on‑site and delivering reports, decision papers, and briefings for leadership. • Develop acquisition plans, Justifications, RFP packages, Statements of Work, and contract data requirement lists for the Missile Defense System. • Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support planning and program integration. • Lead strategic acquisition planning and coordinate integrated strategies with MDS and OGA partners. • Collaborate with senior DoD officials (O‑6 and above) on‑site and deliver products in a fast‑paced environment. • Prepare reports, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholders. • Translate technical requirements into contract language and manage cost, schedule, and performance for space‑based or DoD programs. • Lead or contribute to cross‑functional teams to research, track, and complete ad‑hoc acquisition tasks.

What You Bring

The Principal Acquisition Analyst – C2BMC will join Parsons’ TEAMS NEXT support staff, focusing on the Missile Defense Agency’s Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. This senior role requires deep knowledge of Department of Defense acquisition processes, including cost, schedule, and performance management of contracts. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree with 20 + years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 12 + years, and possess an active Secret clearance. Required skills include expertise in acquisition processes, translating technical requirements into contract terms, independent or team leadership, and experience managing cost, schedule, and performance for space‑based or DoD programs. Desired qualifications include prior experience with the Missile Defense Agency and a demonstrated ability to work within the Federal Solutions segment that supports U.S. government missions. The role offers the chance to contribute to defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental solutions. • Leverage 20+ years (or 12+ with master’s) of acquisition experience and maintain an active Secret clearance. • Preferred: prior experience with the Missile Defense Agency.
