About the Role
The Production Supervisor will lead the switchboard assembly operations at Mission Critical, ensuring output meets engineering design specifications, quality standards, customer service expectations, and profitability targets. Effective communication with all plant personnel is essential to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals. The supervisor will provide daily task direction to production team members and ensure departmental production demands are satisfied. Daily problem‑solving, including engineering and quality issues, is a core responsibility, as is fostering a safe, engaged, and inclusive work culture by enforcing PPE usage and equipment policies. The role also involves maintaining positive employee relations, acting as the primary liaison for management on production matters, and supporting employee assessment, training, coaching, and development to drive strong performance. • Lead switchboard assembly operations to meet design, quality, customer, and profitability goals • Communicate with all plant personnel to achieve safety, quality, and productivity objectives • Direct daily tasks for production team and ensure departmental production targets are met • Resolve daily engineering and quality issues • Promote a safe, engaged, inclusive culture and enforce PPE and equipment policies • Maintain positive employee relations and serve as primary management liaison for production matters • Oversee employee assessment, selection, training, coaching, and development • Track team productivity using Kronos time‑record system

What You Bring
The supervisor will manage time records using Kronos to monitor team productivity and work performance. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (or ten years of manufacturing experience with a high school diploma), at least three years of experience supporting data‑center, manufacturing, operations, or engineering processes, and proven problem‑solving and continuous‑improvement skills such as Six Sigma, 5S, and A3. Physical demands include regular standing, walking, sitting, reaching above shoulder level, gripping, and handling objects, with frequent lifting or carrying of up to 35 lb and pushing/pulling of 35 lb or more. The position also requires adequate far and close vision with depth perception and color discrimination, and regular communication throughout the workday. Candidates must reside within a 50‑mile radius of the work location (military personnel exempt); no relocation assistance is provided. • Require bachelor’s degree or 10 years manufacturing experience with high school diploma • Minimum three years experience supporting data‑center, manufacturing, operations, or engineering processes • Demonstrate problem‑solving expertise (5‑why, Six Sigma, A3, 8D) and continuous‑improvement skills (5S+, leading events) • Meet physical requirements: stand, walk, lift/carry up to 35 lb, push/pull ≥35 lb, and possess adequate vision • Candidates must live within 50 mi of the location (military exempt); no relocation benefits offered
