About the Role
The Community Manager oversees all operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager’s supervision, managing personnel, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration, and risk. As the on‑site leader, the manager ensures compliance with Asset Living policies, safety and fair housing guidelines, and liability requirements while supervising property staff. • Supervise, hire, train, and develop on‑site staff, handling performance issues and ensuring policy compliance. • Create and manage weekly/daily schedules for office and maintenance teams. • Drive net operating income by controlling costs, improving leasing revenue, and developing annual budgets and forecasts. • Oversee rent collection, deposit reconciliation, and timely processing of vendor invoices. • Develop and execute annual marketing and leasing plans, including resident retention programs and promotional events. • Address resident complaints, requests, and ensure high resident satisfaction. • Lead the property’s emergency response team, coordinating actions during incidents to minimize liability. • Ensure accurate and timely administrative reporting, leasing documentation, and property financial close‑out. • Manage maintenance operations, conduct regular property inspections, and coordinate repairs, construction, and rehabilitation activities efficiently. • Maintain proficiency with on‑site software and comply with Fair Housing and OSHA regulations.

What You Bring
A high‑school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree or four years of housing‑industry experience is preferred. Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) credentials are advantageous, along with basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. The role demands regular communication, standing or sitting for extended periods, moving throughout the property, occasional ladder use, and the ability to lift and move objects up to 25 lb. Reliable transportation is needed for on‑call emergency response.

Compensation is based on skill set, background, certifications, and experience, with a salary range of $67,000 – $72,000 per year.
