Engineer - PCB Design
Design and develop PCB artwork, lead small projects, and ensure design quality.
Job Highlights
About the Role
The primary responsibility is to design and develop artwork for printed circuit boards that meet customer‑specific technical, cost, and market requirements. You will often serve as the technical or project leader for small projects, applying basic engineering tools, creative PCB stack‑up design, bill of materials, and component placement for easy routing, while preparing layouts, detailed drawings and schematics using ECAD tools. You will identify the competencies and personnel needed to complete tasks and typically function as an individual contributor within a team. Opportunities for continuous improvement in PCB design process, cycle time, and DPMO are identified and acted upon. Building strong relationships with stakeholders, you will define acceptable quality levels based on IPC standards and continuously manage expectations. You will consistently achieve results, communicate schedule impacts for major scope changes, and hold yourself and others accountable to deliverable dates.
