Senior Planner
Plan, monitor, and control project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project

About the Role
The Senior Planner will be based in central London and will report to the Planning Manager. The role involves planning, monitoring and controlling programme schedules, as well as working with project delivery teams to keep cost and resource profiles current. The position requires a mix of office‑based work (approximately 60‑70%) and site visits (30‑40%) to collaborate with client and subcontractor personnel, ensuring that project schedules are effectively managed and updated in a timely manner. • Plan, monitor and control programme schedules from contract award through to completion. • Conduct regular programme and progress meetings to keep schedules up‑to‑date. • Perform Earned Value Analysis (especially SPI) to ensure timelines are on track. • Provide accurate progress reporting, milestone measurement and critical path analysis. • Create collaborative planning charts to micro‑monitor programme changes. • Identify and input change control events, producing updated programmes that reflect milestone impacts. • Lead workshops aimed at mitigating programme slippage.
